CORE AL FR is a sandwich panel with a core in aluminium honeycomb bonded to two skins of aluminium.
CORE AL FR offers superior mechanical properties and excellent fire ratings. CORE AL FR has passed the most stringent tests of European Regulation as far as fire reaction is concerned in shipbuilding, building and railway sectors.
Our panels are produced according to the needs of our clients, who determine size and other panel characteristics. Panel for false ceilings and ventilated facades, in class A2, therefore non-combustible. Thanks to special assembly techniques, CEL AL FR A2 meets the requirements of the UNI-EN 13501-1 standard.
* To Aluminium alloy series 3000 belong: Aluminium alloy 3003, Aluminium alloy 3005, Aluminium alloy 3103, Aluminium alloy 3104.
C – CORE IN ALUMINIUM HONEYCOMB Aluminium honeycomb (Alloy series 3000*) with hexagonal cells Diameter: Ø1/4”, Ø3/8”, Ø1/2”, Ø3/4” Thickness Foil: from 50 to 70 microns.
OTHER FIRE CERTIFICATIONS
Mod B. and D according to the IMO MED FTP CODE 2010,
HL3 according to the UNI EN 45545-2 standard for R1, R2, R10 applications.
These precision processes are performed by numerical control machines (CNC).
To obtain special shapes and processes, it is necessary to provide a DWG or DXF format drawing in advance.
PAINTINGS
The CORE AL FR Sandwich Panel has been certified with different types of powder or liquid coatings to adapt to the various stylistic, aesthetic and environmental needs. The skin material can be painted in different RAL colours. The external layers are available in different thicknesses and coatings, anodised or with primer.

HANDLING
User manual indicates the conditions in which the material must be stored and preserved in an optimal manner. Here are some of the most important factors that influence the conservation of the panel: storage temperature, handling, exposure to light and atmospheric agents.
Particular attention must be paid in the presence of protective films that could be difficult to remove when subjected to atmospheric agents or following prolonged storage times.
The panel can be easily cleaned and degreased, however the use of acidic substances or with abrasive components is not recommended as they could compromise its aesthetic qualities.
BATCH ORDERS
To allow us to offer youna panel with particular finishes or colours without minimal pigment variations, it is recommended to place an overall order , so that we can plan the production with the rolling mills that will carry out the painting of the sheets in a batch.
RECYCLING
The CORE AL FR panel is 95% recyclable as it is composed of 95% aluminum, which can be melted and reused several times.
Size: 1300×2600 8mm, 12mm, 15mm, 10mm, 20mm.
